Why "Solar Fresh"?
An electronic air freshener powered by solar energy offers a lot of advantages over a battery-powered air freshener.

You can forget about changing batteries (which get more expensive every year due to increasingly stringent environmental legislation). Empty batteries mean many air fresheners stop working, and customers only notice weeks or even months later (and don't forget, batteries often leak, causing damage and pollution).

The first priority was to make sure that the Solar Fresh would work just about anywhere, and so it only needs about 100 lux (10 candela). You will find these lighting conditions almost everywhere. For instance, sunlight varies between 30,000 and 70,000 lux.

You won't need a light meter to check the light at the mounting location. The Solar Fresh has a built-in test function, telling you straight away whether there is enough light. Once this test has been passed, simply switch from test to run mode, select the spray-interval and the Solar Fresh is ready to go!

The biggest odor control problem is an empty air freshener.

A frequently used empty warning system is a counter which counts down from a fixed number of sprays to zero. Tests have shown that a can does not have a fixed number of sprays due to tolerances in the valve, can content and the temperature.
With these systems there is a great possibility of an empty warning signal weeks too early, or worse, too late. These systems also have to be reset by hand another frequent source of errors.

The Solar Fresh system utilizes a spray detection sensor. After the last spray, the "empty-can" warning is displayed, which is automatically reset when you change the can. This means that you are in control of your air freshener system right down to the last spray.
